When Fenty beauty was launched, it took over the whole world and especially our Instagram feeds for the right reasons. First, a foundation for almost every skin tone 🙌🙌🏻🙌🏼🙌🏽🙌🏾🙌🏿 and second, ~that glow~.

Since that glow is a summer necessity and a god-sent for the gram, here’s a way to achieve ~that glow~ without burning a hole in your pockets – a DIY body luminizer/highlighter.

Step 1

First you need to find an oil which you’re okay with. Here are some recommendations – I’ve used Neutrogena and Moroccan but I’ve heard a lot about Clarins and Palmer’s.

Get a loose pigment or highlighter of your choice. Maybelline, Wet and Wild and MAC have good options.

Step 3

Next, use a butter knife and cut 3/4th of the highlighter. Use the whole highlighter for ~extra~ glow or 3/4th for the low-key kind. I’m not sure about using liquid highlighter since I generally use a powder one.

Step 4

Mash the highlighter in a container until it’s fine powder. Pour it in the bottle of oil using a funnel, or make one using a sheet of paper. That’s it, you’re all prepped up for that summer glow.

You can use any oil or pigment of your choice. To fancy up the highlighter put it in a fancy, cute glass container!!

So after making my own highlighter these were the results. I added a little highlighter cause I prefer a low-key look.
